BURNING PERMITS
Burning permits can be obtained from the town Forest Warden or his Deputies.
Class 1,2,& 3 days no permits will be issued until after 5 p.m.
Class 4 & 5 days NO permits will be issued
Weekends & Holidays burn permits will not be issued until after 9 a.m.
Property Owners can get an online permit at a cost of $7.00 by going to Maine.gov

Property Tax Fairness Credit.
The Circuitbreaker Program has been replaced by a refundable Property Tax Fairness Credit that can be claimed on the Maine Individual Income Tax Form.
  
South Thomaston Tax Club
Voluntary Tax Club Booklets are available at the Town Office. Anyone interested in participating should contact the Town Office at 207-596-6584. We would be happy to be of assistance. You can budget your property taxes on a monthly basis.
